One of the best examples of ancient casting technology can be found in Juesheng Temple, also known as the Great Bell Temple.

The big bell dates back more than 500 years, and is carved inside and out with sacred Buddhist texts. Its surface is cross-hatched with 227,000 Chinese characters.
