Urban Development
2004/10/15
In 2003, Beijing's infrastructure was improved. Total
investment in fixed assets reached US$26.06 billion, an
increase of 18.9 percent, focusing on the construction of
infrastructure and housing. The city is forming a complete
urban transportation network. With sufficient supplies of
natural gas, water, and relatively clean fuel for the
generation of electricity, including sufficient power for
heating and cooling, the environment, generally speaking, is
getting better.
