Olympic Licensed Products

Olympic licensed products, whose development was generated by Beijing's golden Olympic opportunity, will be a hit in 2008 with worldwide visitors coming to Beijing. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) has urged consumers to buy Olympic products from licensed stores to avoid purchasing counterfeit goods. BOCOG has licensed nine categories and close to 2,000 items of Olympic products, including badges and non-precious metal products, precious metal products, garments and trappings, hats, bags, ties, homespun products, pens and handicraft.
As of April 21, 2006, 17 licensed stores had been authorized to sell Olympic products in Beijing, along with 11 in Qingdao, Shanghai, Chengdu, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Shenyang.
