Beijing has abundant tourist resources. More than 200 tourist spots are open to visitors from all over the world. Some 456 travel agencies operate in Beijing, employing more than 5,000 tourist guides, who are able to speak a total of 21 languages. Most hotels also offer excursions to the important sites.
