The parks of Haidian District

Situated 28 kilometres northwest of Beijing, the Fragrant Hills are at the tail end of the Western Hills.

Incense Burner Peak is a focal point of the park and stands 557 meters above sea level. You can climb to the top, or take a cable car.

Covering an area of 400 hectares, Beijing Botanical Garden is situated at the foot of the Western Hills in the northwest suburb of Beijing. Besides a large variety of plants, the garden has Asia’s largest greenhouse.
