Mexican Pavilion

With an area of 4,000 square metres and the theme “Living Better,” the Mexican pavilion speaks of Mexico’s proposal to find better forms of coexistence. Based on the relationship between social advancement and sustainable human development, the pavilion showcases Mexico’s achievements with regard to tourism, real estate, high technologies, infrastructure favourable to trade, business and other aspects of modern life.

The heart of the pavilion is defined by a slope that turns into a great plaza represented by a kite forest. The pavilion, divided into three levels, unveils three different moments of Mexican cities: the past unfolds in the basement, the present at the access and the future on the platform of the slope.

Inside the pavilion, visitors can find a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine, a craft shop offering traditional Mexican products, a tourism promotion area showcasing Mexico’s abundant tourism resources, a business centre stressing trade and foreign investment promotion, and a multiple-use hall for temporary exhibitions.
