Gezhou Dam Electric Power Factory reports

By December 29, 2004, the Gezhou Dam Electric Power Factory had generated 16.97 billion kilowatt-hours of electrical power, thereby exceeding its expectation of producing 15.4 billion kilowatt-hours. It also achieved its best annual output since it began production 24 years ago. Since its first power-generating began operating in 1981, the Gezhou Dam Electric Power Factory has generated 312.33 billion kilowatt-hours of electric power.

In 2004, the Gezhou Dam Electric Power Station implemented more than 30 technological improvement projects to increase the reliability and stability of the dam's operation.
