Beijing is planning to invite overseas regulatory agencies to participate in the management of its more than 300 scenic spots, sources with the Beijing Municipal Tourism Bureau said. The city reported it plans to welcome oversight of both hotels and the tourism sector by overseas regulatory agencies. More than 30 well-known hotel management groups, investors and tourism experts participated in the two-day forum, including the world's top ten hotel giants, Beijing Municipal Tourism Bureau sources said. Participants discussed hotel reform and development, and considered ways to improve the development of tourism in Beijing. The forum was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Tourism Bureau, the Beijing Tourism Association, and the Capital Tourism Group. |
