Mid-Autumn Festvial Moon Cakes

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important holidays on the Chinese lunar calendar, a time of family reunions. A symbol of unity, reunion and friendship, moon cakes are sent out as gifts to loved one. To celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival on September 25, hotels in Beijing have crafted their own moon cakes, using various ingredients and styles, adding their own special touch to the festival atmosphere.
