Thrash Metal: Testament to Rock Beijing

BREAKING NEWS—Testament, one of the most respected “Thrash Metal” bands in the United States is about to rock Beijing!

As one of the first Thrash Metal bands which emerged in the United States in the 1980's, Testament has picked a great time to start its world tour. Invited by Pilot Records, a new music producer in China, the real heavy metal loader will for the first time fire up Chinese rock fans on July 29 at Tango in Star Live at the South Gate of Ditan Park. As the greatest ever western heavy metal band performing in China, they will bring Chinese rock fans extraordinary 100 percent pure heavy metal sound.

The legendary band was formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in late 1983.With all the members’ consistent efforts, their passion for heavy metal never faded, making Testament one of the most influential Thrash Metal bands in the global heavy metal world. Their music has been popular among Chinese rock fans since the early 80s, but their albums are still considered extremely rare.

This time, the supporting artist is Honey Gun, an original Chinese band with the name “All-Stars” by their fans because all the members are very talented musicians. They rose to fame in recent years and have signed with Pilot Records. Their debut album 240km/h will be released in August. In other exciting news for their audience, the organizer will arrange one secret guest share onstage with Testament on July 29.

As a welcoming gift for Testament, several famous Chinese heavy metal bands will perform all their classical works in MAO Live on July 27. This Tribute to Testament live show will light up fans’ passion in advance.
