Hai Qing He Yan, French Tappasaki Food Club

2007/06/15

The Hai Qing He Yan restaurant in the Houhai area gets people's attention because of its attractive atmosphere, augmented by the sounds of stringed and woodwind musical instrumentation. People stay because of its excellent tappasaki fusion offerings served among works of calligraphy and paintings by well-known artists in a Beijing courtyard-styled restaurant.

Various tappasaki (aka tiebanshao) variants are available at Hai Qing He Yan, but the house specialty is “French tappasaki,” a new tappasaki that combines French, Japan, and Chinese cuisines. The most enjoyable thing about eating tappasaki is that a single chef will prepare your entire meal. He will even move his kitchen to the outside, allowing customers to enjoy eating his fantastic dishes while marvelling at the cooking skills of the chef.

Hai Qing He Yan is a perfect banquet venue. There are four honoured guest rooms, where you can invite your family or friends, and its graceful and classical environment is suitable for business banquets, small meetings, press conferences and cocktail parties.
