Taste Western Food and Other Delicacies in the SCITECH Hotel

2007/05/22

Many western restaurants have opened recently in Beijing, and more are on the way, but one stands out, the western restaurant and coffee shop in the SCITECH Hotel on Jianguomenwai Dajie, known for its authentic Western dishes. This is a very famous, well-established hotel that was founded in 1991 known for its “Pastel Bistro Coffee Shop.” Because both buffet and a la carte menus are available in the restaurant, and because there is a wide selection of western and Southeast Asian cuisines, many companies around the CBD choose the SCITECH Hotel for their banquets or simply to enjoy great buffet lunches and dinners. Its elegant, romantic setting; relaxed and friendly atmosphere; extensive, high quality dishes; and its open kitchen all come together to create an impressive dining experience. The tender, savoury steak is highly recommended here, but also the fresh, healthy and high-fibre salad, a favourite among women diners. The “Pastel Bistro Coffee Shop” also holds various international food festivals throughout the year, inviting guests to explore a variety of delectable dishes. Buffet lunch begins at as little as 88 yuan per person, while dinner begins at 108 yuan (both in addition to the customary 15 percent service charge).
