Vincenzo Spinosi, A Man, A Family, A Tradition
2005/04/20
With his looks and personality, he is conquering the world.
At 54, Vincenzo Spinosi, born in Campofilone -- in the province
of Ascoli Piceno, Marche Region -- is better known as the
"Prince of Pasta."
Spinosi is a sought-after pasta brand appreciated all over
the world. Spinosini pastas are different from the other egg
pastas because they are mixed using fresh eggs enriched with
Omega 3. The eggs are enriched by giving leghorn hens a diet
integrated with vegetable oils, natural sources of Omega 3 (a
family of polyunsaturated fatty acids that helps the blood
circulation and contains less cholesterol), and Vitamin E such
as cold-pressed sunflower oil (from selected crops).
Vincenzo Spinosi wished to mark his range with a particular
product as it embraced the new millennium. He achieved this by
implementing a long-nurtured project to give an unusual "form"
of pasta an extra something with healthy overtones, whilst
maintaining all the gustative qualities of the world-famous and
highly esteemed egg pasta.
Spinosi pasta has been displayed in the department store of
Harrod's in London, Di Palo's in New York, and Disneyland in
Orlando. And now people in Beijing can enjoy the Spinosi in St.
Regis Hotel Beijing.
Vincenzo Spinosi, VIP of Italian gastronomy, was awarded the
International Five Star Diamond Award in 2000 by the American
Academy of Hospitality and Sciences. Previous recipients of
this award were Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Margaret
Thatcher.
