Summer Holiday Disney Treat for Children

2005/05/01
Text by Hellen Zhou

Disney On Ice Jungle Adventures, stories from Disney's The Jungle Book, Tarzan and The Lion King, will be staged in Beijing from August 2-7, adding another welcome theatrical spectacular to the local children's summer vacation treats.

The Jungle Adventures are made up of some of Walt Disney's best-loved characters, including  Safari Mickey and Minnie, Baloo and King Louie. The stories are about love, family and friendship, resulting in a high-energy, gravity-defying "cool" show that even features popular hits like You'll Be In My Heart; Can You Feel The Love Tonigh?; and a Jungle Book score set to a swinging beat and featuring Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You.

The action includes high-flying stunts, and skaters who soar through the air. So be prepared for a foot-stomping, chest-pounding great time for the whole family.

To enable more children to have the chance of enjoying the show, the organizers have donated some tickets to The China Children and Teenagers' Fund. Prices range from 80-380 yuan.
