Though it is still cold in March in Beijing, galleries and
theatres have become "hot". Eighty-eight classical photos from
France and the musical drama Casablanca from America fly
to Beijing. As the gallery season arrives, exhibitions of
artists from both home and abroad are expected to delight art
lovers in the capital.
As the FORTUNE Global Forum will present its premier in
Beijing in May, BTM sets up a special column for this
event.
In 2005, the Year of Rooster, China celebrates the
100th birthday of its film industry. And in this
issue we put a listing of this year's events concerning film
and offer a small discussion on possible trends in Chinese
films.
