Sizzling Setup

China’s first Sizzler franchise has just opened in the Fuchengmen area on the west side of Central Beijing.

Sizzler defines itself as a “casual dining” restaurant, putting it in a similar bracket to Pizza Hut and the now-defunct Kenny Rogers’ Roasters. Its “All You Care to Eat” salad bar provides more than 50 varieties of fresh items including soups, mixed salads, vegetables and fruits plus a variety of dressings.

Sizzler originated in California nearly 50 years ago. There are now more than 300 Sizzler restaurants around the world.
