"I fell in love with you watching Casablanca, Back row at the drive-in show in the flickering light, But a kiss is not a kiss without your sigh,I love you more and more each day as time goes by"

Sixty-three years after the debut of perhaps the world's best-loved film, a brand-new musical drama based on Casablanca is set to make its international premier in Beijing on April 2. Many people can sing this song, and they greatly love the film Casablanca mentioned in the song.

Casablanca was first shown in 1942 in Los Angeles and New York. Time Warner produced this musical extravaganza to mark the 60th anniversary of victory in World War II. Beijing will be the first stop on its worldwide tour, which will leave China for foreign shores after a second run in Shanghai. The Beijing event will be an important part of the Beijing Third International Drama Season.

The musical of Casablanca will be a nostalgic experience for many. The familiar plot and locations are all reproduced on stage, while the first half deepens the sense of times past with production design dominated by black and white.

Casablanca's timeless love story, its spirit of pursuit of freedom and trust, and the wonderful performances of its actors and actress made it an evergreen classic. Now, Time Warner brings the unique and everlasting glamour of Casablanca to audiences through another art form.
