Call for Toilets in Business Venues to Open to Public

Beijing has called for business venues to open their toilets to the general public, in an effort to help pedestrians caught short. The local authorities add that venues that refuse to open their toilets will not be punished, explaining that compliance is voluntary.

The business venues in question are mainly hotels, restaurants, shopping centres, airports, subways, and gasoline, railway and bus stations.
