New Flights to Dali from Beijing, Shanghai

China East Air on July 1 announced it will add two direct flights daily to Dali from Beijing and Shanghai via Kunming. The flights are expected to enhance Dali's tourism and economic development.

One of the most beautiful and relaxed areas of China, Dali has 130 tourism resorts and about 150,000 employees involved in its tourism-related industries. It serves about 5.64 million tourists, including 120,000 from overseas. Tourism provides an annual income to Dali of a reported 2.85 billion yuan (US$344 million).
