The preparations for the Tour of Qinghai Lake International
Cycling Race have entered a final stage. The 1,178.4-kilometre
race slated for July 17-25 has a total course distance of 772.4
kilometres, which ranges from 2,230 metres to 3,820 metres

set for the Tour.
The Tour has been rated a class-2.3 event by the sport's

Points won will be counted in world rankings.
The twice-yearly race was originally part of the Qinghai

top cycling competition.
