Chengdu Hosts Sixth China Flower Expo

The China Flower Association has chosen Chengdu to host of the Sixth Flower Expo in 2005. This will be the first commercialized version of the Expo and diplomats from 42 countries have been informed about it. The China Flower Expo is a national-level flower festival held every four years. It mainly displays the achievements of the China flower industry and features floral culture. The event began in 1987 and, till now, has been held in Beijing, Shanghai, Shunde and Guangzhou. The Expo will last from September 28 to October 7, 2005. The Chengdu organizing committee has already selected promotional images that will be used in advertising the Expo.
