On my recent trip to Beijing I suggested to my Chinese colleague that we visit Kong Yiji, the restaurant that BTM featured in April, and we really enjoyed it! One criticism, though, was that your map was not helpful in finding it.

To be honest, I didn't enjoy my first trip to the Ming Tombs. But after reading your article on it I intend to try again! Please let me know when the new renovated areas will be open to the public.

My husband and I use your magazine frequently for its listings and recommendations, but sometimes we wish there were Chinese characters and directions in every listing that we could show a taxi driver!
