Miss Int'l Works as Tour Guide in Beijing

2003's Miss International winner of the Best National Costume award, Miss Wang Shan, was on hand April 4 to show foreign visitors around the Temple of Heaven Park in Beijing.

The nineteen-year old Miss International speaks fluent English and was resplendent in Chinese traditional dress as she introduced one of Beijing and China's most famous places of interest and folk customs to foreign tourists.

Wang Shan took the job as a volunteer in order to promote this October's Miss International competition in Beijing.

The Miss International contest has been held in Japan for 33 consecutive years and this is the first time it will be hosted in China.
