China Top Tourism Venue by 2020

A prediction by the World Tourism Organization says China will be the world's top tourism destination by 2020. Meanwhile, the rapid development of the country's tourism industry is confirming the prediction, even though the sector as a whole lacks a national leader. While there is continuing cooperation between Chinese and overseas enterprises since China entered the World Trade Organization, there remains the need for a nationwide tourism federation to reinforce the tourism industry.

This need in mind, and with the approval of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, a Tourism Chamber was established just after Christmas last year under the chairmanship of Wang Ping. Vice-chairmen are Wang Minggang, Wang Jian, Bai Ruobing, Wu Yongjian and Mu Min.
