Japanese Lithographs Donated to Friendship Body

More than 70 lithographs by leading Japanese artist Kaii
Higashiyama were recently displayed in Beijing to commemorate
the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Sino-Japan ties.
Fifty of the works, displayed at an exhibition center in the
Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign
Countries (CPAFFC), were donated to the association after the
exhibition closed.
As a painter who enjoys an international reputation,
Higashiyama is acknowledged as having made a valuable
contribution to cultural exchanges between the two
countries.
