Experience the City I Work In

Co-organized by Beijing Tourism Administration (BTA) and BTM Publications, "Experience the City I work In" attracted 156 foreign friends from 38 countries. Featuring "New Beijing, New Image and New Feeling", this activity impressed the foreign visitors, especially Beijing's great changes.

On the morning of August 24, guests visited Liuminying organic farm, which is recognized by the United Nations Environment Program as the First Ecological Village in China. It is notable for its successful recycling systems which integrate the environmental, social and economic benefits of ecological farming.

In the afternoon, the guests visited Beijing Development Area (BDA), which started its preparatory in 1991, and invited investment from l992. Up to now, there have been over 110 investment projects from l9 countries and regions in the world with a total investment of more than US$800 million.
