Saxophonist Kenny G 'Thrilled' by Four China Concerts

American saxophonist Kenny G will give four concerts during his tour of three Chinese cities next month. The Budweiser Kenny G China Tour will kick off on October 15 in Shanghai, where his 20-member band will give two concerts before they move south to Guangzhou and, later, Beijing.

Kenny G told the media via a videotape that he was "thrilled" about his visit to China. "I hope it will be the start of many visits there," he said. He has sold more than 50 million records worldwide, many of which have become familiar to Chinese fans. His new album, Paradise, is expected to be released early next month.
