Madam Soong's Former Residence Seeks Volunteers

he former residence of Madam Soong Qingling,
a beautiful courtyard home on the West bank of Houhai
Lake, both receives tourists and serves as a museum to
Soong and Sun Yat-sen, founder of the Republic of China in
1910.
Now the residence's management office is seeking the help of
volunteers who specialize in research of Soong's history, the
translation of her literary materials into English, Japanese,
French and Russian, and the organization of special promotional
activities for the residence. Also welcomed would be people
qualified to design and set up exhibitions; design and produce
souvenirs; the greening of the residence's yard; and who can
offer medical assistance.
