Gongde Lin

There is no better recommendation for this restaurant than
the fact that it is highly favored by Buddhists. For them, it's
the best on the vegetarian block. Gongde Lin is traditional in
design, built as far back as 1922 along the lines of a Shanghai
veggie restaurant. Dishes here are basically Huaiyang, with
northern flavoring. Many are prepared from secret recipes that
are unique to Gongde Lin.
The first of the restaurant's three floors are for ordinary
diners, the others for customers who prefer private rooms.
