Vegetarian Diet V.S. Meat Dishes

2002/03/01

Vegetarian dishes tend to be simple, fresh, tender and visually pleasing. Most ingredients can be flavored to personal taste, including the aromas of once-favored meats. Vegetables are said by food analysts to contain, pro-rata, more vitamins and nourishment that meats.

Committed vegetarians are convinced that their health and sense of wellbeing have improved since ceasing to eat meats. While they often agree that vegetables can seem visually unappetizing, they argue that inventiveness by a cook can make marrow pulp or a turnip pie appear positively ravishing. The only way for you to find out is to sample dishes at a proper vegetarian restaurant.
