European Currency Cash Holders Urged to Convert

With the formal circulation of Euro currency in most European countries now under way, the Bank of China is urging holders of such European cash as francs and deutchsmarks to convert them to Euros this month and next. The bank will, meanwhile, suspend deposits and withdrawals of the currencies formerly used in European currencies which are adopting the new Euro.
