More Buses, Faster Services
2001/01/01
More buses making high-frequency journeys are already on the
streets and, by and large, reducing passengers' waiting time at
chilly bus stops. A total of 6,757 buses are being used,
between them making a total of 85,077 routed trips each day.
The number of long-distance buses were also increased last
year, enabling them to now make a total of 6,808 trips daily.
This is an increase of 53.6 percent over the previous year.
Currently, during morning and evening peak times and wherever
you board, there is one bus every two minutes if other
vehicular traffic and bicycles allow.
