PSB Handles Pre-holiday Rush for Overseas Travel

With the approach of the Spring Festival, Beijing Public Security Bureau (PSB) has been receiving more than 1,200 applications every day since November 20 for overseas travel.
The number of people planning to go abroad during the holiday is constantly increasing, with some 1,400 applications on one day alone. This was more than double of an average day.

Beijing travel agencies, which provide tourists with a choice of schedules, say that three- to four-day overseas trips are the most popular among local people. Up to December 9, the PSB had handled about 18,000 applications.
